Composer, violinist and director, Lorenzo Donati studied first at "Liceo Musicale" of Arezzo, then at "Luigi Cherubini" Conservatory in Florence, "Accademia Chigiana" in Siena at Music School of Sesto Fiorentino. As conductor, he graduated at Fondazione "Guido d'Arezzo" master courses, under European Community patrocinate. He is currently involved into several choir's conduction, such as Insieme Vocale Vox Cordis of Arezzo, Polifonica San Lorenzo of Montevarchi (AR). He is also artistic director and singing member of Hesperimenta Vocal Ensemble. With these ensembles, he has been recognized by lots of national and international prizes during last years. He is also very appreciated by both critics and audience as composer: his operas have been performed in Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Republic of Malta and Sweden and they have been published by many editors, like Erreffe (Rome), Pro Musica Studium (Rome), Edizioni Musicali Europee (Milan), Carrara (Bergamo) and Pizzicato (Udine). |
